Many people choose a dedicated forecasting package such as Winforecast in order to move away from Excel, so why is it important that Winforecast can link to Excel?

An Excel user may be comfortable maintaining a sales forecast sheet while finding it time-consuming and complex to try and build a balanced cash forecast and balance sheet in a spreadsheet. ‘Hot Linking’ a sales forecast in Excel to Winforecast can be the answer. While the sales forecast – which may need frequent updating, or sharing amongst staff – can be maintained in a spreadsheet, overhead forecasts, balance sheet and cash flow can be handled entirely within Winforecast.
